Letting things go, to let things go forward :) Dear Newsletter users, it's been quite a while, isn't it? :) Summer has been busy here at Newsletter's headquarters, and a little rest often helps focusing on new ideas and developments. That's why we decided to lighten up a little bit our plugin, detaching some old core features from the main Newsletter files. Since we know that this could lead to some confusion, we felt it was the right thing to cover this changes in a dedicated newsletter.

Wp Registration Integration This integration let website visitors to subscribe to a newsletter while signing in to Wordpress. This has been part of Newsletter core files for a long time now, but we felt like it would be more handy to have it in a separate extension, with the ability to turn it off and on. This extension is already available from the Extension panel, so if you're interested, you'll find it there ready to be installed and activated. From the forthcoming mid October release, this feature will only be available from Extensions panel and will no longer be part of Newsletter core files.

Locked Content Extension This extension made possible to lock certain areas of a website until the user subscribed to the newsletter. This feature, altough very useful, isn't needed by everyone and in order to improve Newsletter performances, we decided to put it into a separate extension. We will completely remove this feature from core files on mid October release, so if you're using it we strongly suggest to install and activate Locked Content extension from the extensions panel inside Newsletter. All your settings will be moved accordingly. By not doing so, you could end losing all your settings.

That's it for now, have a great day! The Newsletter Team |
