ParticipantHi,
it works, thank you! Also thanks for making it clear what happens to bounced/complained and unconfirmed subscribers.
This is exactly what I expected, thanks again for your fantastic work!

ParticipantHi Michael,
that was my first test. I had
c.{date_Y} studio kaedinger
and it didn’t work. So I tested withc.{date_Y} {company_name}
which “expanded” to “c.{date_Y} studio kaedinger”.To summarize:
<p><center>c.2025 {company_name}</center></p> <p><center>(c) {date} studio kaedinger</center></p> <p><center>(c) {date_Y} studio kaedinger</center></p>
came out
c.2025 studio kaedinger (c) {date} studio kaedinger (c) {date_Y} studio kaedinger
No version of {date} gets expanded.

ParticipantSounds fantastic! Thank you for listening and all your fine work with this plugin! I’m really looking forward to this (and I can deactivate my daily “turn unsubscribers to unconfirmed subscribers” script)!

ParticipantHi Michael,
thanks for your quick answer. That’s very unfortunate. I had this about 5 times now even with my very few (~500) subscribers. I operate an audio studio. People are interested because they are recording with me, then they just want to take a break from subscriptions when they are finished. But then they come back a year later and they just can’t subscribe, unless I deleted them manually from my subscriber list. No one keeps a reactivate link that’s displayed once on the goodbye screen, and goodbye emails are discouraged – and let’s be honest, no one would keep goodbye emails, even if they were sent.
I myself subscribe do different services on and off depending on my current interests and needs.
Is there a way to automatically delete subscribers when they unsubscribe? Or is there at least a way to modify the displayed error message, which displays no reason or hint or link at all?

ParticipantI do not get that to work at all.
In all my tests with unsubscribed users, these subscriptions failed with the Admin message: “Subscriber blocked since unsubscribed. Contact the site administrator.” People do not even see this message, so most likely they just leave it at that. I have double opt-in enabled and double subscriptions allowed.
The setting does however work for users who are subscribed at the moment.
But this is not how it’s supposed to work, is it?
