KeymasterNewsletter tries to set it self the execution limits to an higher value when required, of course if the execution limit can be changed. The max required is 300 seconds, but only when it is delivering the emails (and it depends on how many email per hour has been configured).

KeymasterCiao, stiamo modificando l’integrazione con gli utenti in modo tale che il nome venga sempre preso dal profilo WP, perché spesso è quello che “comanda”, nel senso che è un profilo gestito dall’utente ad esempio con woocommerce. Avendo il nome in due punti diversi ovviamente si crea un possibile conflitto, in quanto anche nel profilo di newsletter c’è la possibilità di impostare il nome.
Stiamo quindi cercando di capire bene come e se tenere sincronizzate le cose. Ad esempio alcuni preferiscono che i due profili siano completamente separati… e quindi accontentare tutti non è banale o implica inserire molte opzioni.
Dovremmo fare a breve dei rilasci aggiornati dell’estensione wp users integration.

KeymasterHi, the reports extension gives you a list of the contacted subscribers with a newsletter and who opened your email. There is no way to know if a mail has been classified as spam. The provider is right in suggesting to change the SMTP, but which SMTP did you use? Is an SMTP correctly configured to send email from the sender you set in the plugin? OVH should give you an SMTP for emails of addresses in your domain, why not use it?
Have you tried with an external service like sendgrid, mailgun and so on?
Newsletter just move the message to the SMTP you selected, it cannot control if that SMTP is classified as a spam server.

KeymasterI believe you should switch to the single checkbox like explained in the CF7 integration to allow marketing communication. The idea to show in a web page two exclusive selections yes or not originated from the paper consent collection where a single checkbox can be falsified and so there should be a clear tick on yes or not. In a webpage you can use the checkbox.
I suppose this requirement comes from a privacy consultant which is used to work with paper privacy collection methods.

We removed one of the messages and left only the one reporting a late scheduler execution, but we should address this topic since it is creating confusion.
The message is not about the delivery speed is about how the WordPress scheduler is working. Newsletter relies on that scehduler to send messages (at speed set on main settings).

If your signup form creates a WP user you can user the wp user intergration extension and add a checkbox named “newsletter”. Of course your signup must call the wp specific function used to signup a user so those events can be intercecpted by Newsletter.

KeymasterHi, are you sure the plugin has bugs and it’s not a configuration problem in your blog? About the double profile edit the page where the profile is appearing twice, what’s inside?
And in the subscriber profile configuration panel, what’s configured? Have you changed the defaults? Which is the site where I can try to subscribe and edit my profile?
If you provide more information we can help.
What do you mean with “is not possible to edit the text of a newsletter”? Are you using the composer or a theme? since there are tons of users composing and sending newsletters and we have not bugs like yours reported, it could be a conflict with a third party plugin. Again, to check problem like that we need at least a screenshot or a clear description, step by step on how to reproduce the problem.

KeymasterHi, no we have not an url for that. But if a logged in user enter a page with the [newsletter_profile] shortcode, if he’s a subscriber, he should see the profile and hence the export link.
But no other data can be exported than the one of the subscriber.WP has a new export tool for regular users, I don’t know if there is a link on their profile page we’ll start the integration work on next weeks.

KeymasterYes, that is exactly the process. Newsletter subscribes the contact just before CF7 sends the contact email. The subscription is the regular subscription process of Newsletter.
For each CF7 form you can configure how Newsletter should intercept and manage the collected data. The only modification required, if desired, is to add the subscription checkbox in the CF7 form (see the documentation on this site for more details).

KeymasterTrigger is externally. Check our documentation page about the delivery engine and ask support to your provider to setup an external trigger. Probably your blog has not much traffic, or the cache is blocking the scheduler or the provider does not allow “autocalls”.
Our documentation has few examples you can bring to your provider attention to solve that problem.

KeymasterNo, it’s a DNS problem. Your new server is still resolving your domain to the old server. Forget the status panel for a couple of days and probably everything will be fine after 48 hours. If the problem persists you should ask the provider is the server is using an update DNS server.

But, just an opinion: if someone subscribes the only reason to cancel is when you send him a newsletter (which has the cancellation link)… hence I won’t worry too much to have an unsubscription form on your site.
