EliParticipant
Yes, Blue Sky is becoming more and more relevant by the day. Literally millions of people are swithching.
Thanks.EliParticipant@michael-travan Thank you; however, I'm no CSS expert. I attempted adding something like that, but it made no difference. Could you provide me with the entire CSS code that I must add?
Thanks.EliParticipant@michael-travan Ok, I managed to get rid of that annoying warning by actually creating a list, adding all our subscribers to that list and then configuring that list, so all new subscribers are automatically added to it. Then selected that new list to show as pre-selected on the selection checkmark on the Newsletter form, then hiding the Selection checkmark/icon with CSS. Hopefully this will work as I intended it to. I made a test, and it seems that a new subscriber was subscribed successfully.
In the past what we have done is just create new bulletins and send the bulletin to all subscribers, there was no actual list created, and this warning never appeared, so not sure what changed on your plugin.
Now, why don't you guys make that optional? I'm sure other people will have this issue as well. Yeah, I'm the admin, but I want to see the site as it is supposed to look. That warning is a good idea to help with certain configurations, but there should be a way to hide it.
EliParticipantI'm not sure how to respond to this, but look at my screenshot below.
I do see a list there, but I do not have it selected as I don't want the list selection to appear on the form. If I select it then the list selection appears even though we only have the one list.
Thanks
EliParticipant@michael-travan thank you, but I don't want it to be displayed for me either. I just don't want it to show period. It breaks the design.
How can I get rid of it? Our Newsletter form is at the bottom of the page, and it shows EVERYWHERE though out the site because it is on the Widgets area.
EliParticipant@bob what you can do is what I do. Just create a temporary mailing list and add those new subscribers to the list. Then copy (Duplicate) your old Newsletter and resend it to those subscribers.
Yeah, it's a pain. And you'll probably have to keep doing this many times. But currently it's the only way.
Unfortunately, this feature has been requested here over and over. They keep saying they are thinking about it and that they have forwarded the requests to the developers. Hopefully they added before we lose all hope 🙂
EliParticipantThis has been requested here so many times, yet developers don't seem interested. I wonder why. It would be a really useful feature.
