KeymasterHello Xavier,
at the moment we do not have any integrations with any CRM software, nor we plan one in the near future. Any integrations should be developed from scratch. We do however have some APIs instructions ready to be used. Read more on our documentation pages.
Thanks,
michaelSeptember 27, 2024 at 9:35 am in reply to: Which Newsletter configuration to choose to send events newsletters? #332853Michael
KeymasterHello,
no, you can’t send automatic and “immediate” newsletter when a new event is published with out plugin. With Automated addon, newsletters are sent with a schedule (which can also be hourly): if it finds new events published in that interval, it will generate and send a new newsletter, otherwise it will stay idle.
Smtp2Go is a good service, and will provide of course optimal deliverabilty at cheap prices.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
happy to hear that!
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
customization of the captcha is not possible through the admin, you should edit it via code, but unfortunately we do not offer support on these matters.
Michael
KeymasterHello,
try to enable debug mode in Settings > General > Advances and see if it catches any more specific php error. You’d need to have a newsletter sending and wait for cron to run (approx every 5 mins). Get back to me with any results.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
our plugin cannot collect that kind of info, so there’s no way to use Automated to send birthdays newsletters. Sorry.

KeymasterHello.
1. I never said that, I could replicate your issue (and Outlook mobile has also other issues, to tell the truth) but I said we cannot solve it at the moment.
2. Service emails are not newsletters. Newsletters are newsletters and can be seen online, hence why that tag only works in newsletters.
3. Just scale your header banner to 650px or 700px or leave it as it is, it won’t make that big difference if you think to the enormous variety of screen sizes, email clients, devices your newsletter will be read with. I know it sounds silly, but it’s true.Michael

KeymasterThat’s nice Larry, glad to hear your positive experience with Newsletter : )
Michael
KeymasterHello,
I’ll have this discussed with our developers, I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
you can buy one of our premium licenses from this page: thenewsletterplugin.com/premium.
Michael
KeymasterHello Vera,
you could use the Columns block, which is included in the Extended Composer Blocks premium addon.

KeymasterHello @alefveld,
sorry for this delay. I’ve had a hard time troubleshooting the Outlook mobile issue, it’s always very difficult to optimize email design for that particular client. At this moment I’m sorry to say I don’t really have a workaround, from the information I gathered Outlook has some weird behaviours with line breaks. We’ll keep investigating this but I’m not sure we’ll be able to fix it.
About the email url tag: I just saw you mentioned it’s not working in welcome and goodbye emails (my bad) but it’s supposed to work in regular newsletters only, to show an online version of the actual newsletter.
About the banner issue: in our templates it is capped at 600px, that’s correct. Where did you set it to be 675px wide? I’m not sure I understood this correctly.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Ian,
sorry if you needed this reply a little bit earlier : ) You can stop newsletters by going to the newsletters list inside Automated, and selecting the one which is currently being sent. Or, you can go to Help/delivery panel, where you can find a quick overview of the newsletters being sent at any moment.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
we don’t have that feature at the moment, but I’ve passed this to our developers for further consideration.
Thanks,
MichaelSeptember 19, 2024 at 9:53 am in reply to: Which Newsletter configuration to choose to send events newsletters? #332139Michael
KeymasterHello Stefano,
my answer is yes to almost all your questions : ) The limits we mention are those of the hosting providers: generally speaking, they never offer a real smtp service and even if they do, it’s almost never reliable. So yeah, if you’re sending out relevant amounts of emails, it’s very recommended to subscribe to a (even a free) ESP (email service provider). All your other assumptions on the The Events Calendar integration are correct.
By the way, siamo italiani e se hai bisogno di avere qualche info in più puoi tranquillamente scrivermi a michael@thenewsletterplugin.com : )
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
this isn’t a viable option, unfortunately. I totally get the difficulties one faces nowadays to succesfully send a newsletter that will (hopefully) hit the subscribers inboxes, however there is no guarantees that even a second email address won’t bounce back incoming newsletters. It’s a complex matter, we know that. What I can suggest to do is to improve every aspect of the so called deliverability, apart from that, bounces can still occur but there’s little we can do at that point.
Thanks,
MichaelSeptember 17, 2024 at 5:01 pm in reply to: Which Newsletter configuration to choose to send events newsletters? #331991Michael
KeymasterHello,
I’m sure you’ll be happy to know that Newsletter integrates perfectly with The Events Calendar and that you can schedule automatic newsletters with last events through our Automated addon. Both are included in all our premium plans, which you can find here: https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/premium

September 16, 2024 at 4:41 pm in reply to: Our monthly newsletter automaticly unsubscribed some of our subscribers. #331905Michael
KeymasterOk, I see. It’s probably caused by some aggressive spam filter which is triggering an automatic unsubscription (where it shouldn’t, of course). Could you please tell me more on your environment? Mail client, mail provider etc…
Thanks,
MichaelSeptember 16, 2024 at 2:12 pm in reply to: Our monthly newsletter automaticly unsubscribed some of our subscribers. #331887Michael
KeymasterHello,
that is perfectly normal and required by many service providers, Google and Yahoo among them. Read more here: https://www.mailjet.com/blog/deliverability/understanding-gmail-unsubscribe/#subchapter-4
thanks.

KeymasterHello Thomas,
sorry but I didnt understand your inquiry. Could you please eleborate?
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
single post block drop down picker is limited to the last 100 posts. To send a newsletter with an older post, I’d recommend to install Instasend addon, open up the desired post and create an Instasend newsletter from the sidebar.

KeymasterHello,
1. I’ll have a quick chat with the developers about this, as it’s rather weird, specially if you say that the other tags work fine.
2-3. Could you please send me a test newsletter so I can take a closer look? Send it to michael@thenewsletterplugin.comThanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
no, it doesn’t require an additional database, it uses the same db as your site does.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Stefan,
while we don’t offer single addons for sale, our licenses are not subscription based: you can buy a year of updates and premium support and access to our whole collection of premium addons. After that year, you can choose to renew or not (no automatic rebilling).
Michael
KeymasterHello,
all the data stay on your own server. It’s completely self-hosted.
Michael
KeymasterHello,
we’re in the process of making every message editable with our visual composer, which will solve this once and for all. Anyway, that message is really useful only for antispam filters.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
I’ve pinged our developers on this feature request. Our roadmap is based upon many factors, but we take every single feedback into consideration.

Michael
KeymasterHello,
for questions regarding our premium WooCommerce addon, please open a ticket from your account page so our dedicated support team can answer you there.

KeymasterHello,
our plugin translations are based upon WordPress.org translate project, sometimes it takes a while before new parts of the plugin get properly translated in all languages. Which language are you referring to? So I can check translation status.

August 26, 2024 at 10:16 am in reply to: Subscriber automatically removed from list without consent #331064Michael
KeymasterHello,
unsubscription links only work when put inside newsletters, so the system knows where the clicks come from and operates accordingly. Of course subscribers can unsubscribe also from their private profile page.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
those are correct. Unfortunately no, you cannot modify them in order to have them more human-readable.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
unfortunately we don’t have such an option at the moment.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
if you have single opt-in enabled and correctly setup newsletter dedicated page, the confirmation message should appear on the same page. If you mean without refresh, we do not have an ajax option at the moment.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
unfortunately no, at the moment that’s not possible. However it’s a nice idea, I’ve passed this to our developers : )
Thanks for your feedback,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
just to be clear: you’d like to send last newsletters to news subscribers only? If that’s what you want to do, there is no option to do that automatically, at the moment.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
yes, that’s what was missing. Glad it works correctly now!
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
newsletter images cannot be used as social share feature image. However, you can set a custom image using a Seo plugin such as Yoast, Rankmath or AIOSEO.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHi, we’re still working on it. We currently have some other major developments going on so I’m not sure when these features will be ready. Thanks for your patience!

KeymasterHello,
it looks like your developing on a local environment, this may lead to unexpected behaviours but first of all, could you describe me what’s exactly not working?
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
let me check this!
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
to translate Newsletter core plugin we use WordPress GlotPress project, which you can find and contribute to here: https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/newsletter/.
As you can see, Bulgarian has already been translated (mostly).
As for the addons, at the moment we do not provide localization. Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
unfortunately no, we do not have a tag to show that. I’ve passed this to our developers, which will consider adding this in the future. Thanks for your feedback.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
Newsletter works with any sending method, it does not *require* an external sending engine. However, using an external service greatly improves sending reliability and it’s very recommended. More on this: https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/documentation/troubleshooting/
August 14, 2024 at 11:12 am in reply to: minimal subscription form: space between email field and button #330644Michael
KeymasterHello Daniel,
you can override this by adding some custom css code, by goint to Settings > General > Advanced.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
no, unfortunately you can’t.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
you can edit this by going to your form settings and check Privacy panel.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Yannick,
of course you’re absolutely right: I’ve already passed this to our developers for further investigation. Hopefully it will be added soon. We’re trying to refine and add options to our composer as often as we can, and your feedback is crucial.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello Udo,
if you try to add newsletter form shortcode on a test page, do you see the same error message about the missing custom fields?
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
yes it’s possible but you need some basic html and css knowledge in order to get that. Start from here: https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/documentation/subscription/subscription-forms-style/
Michael
KeymasterHello,
unfortunately we cannot help you with that.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
you can edit the confirmation, welcome and cancellation emails from Settings > Messages template
Michael
KeymasterHello Nessi,
first of all yes, it’s visible only to site admins. Could you try to delete any entry in the Custom Fields panel and then hit save and see if they’re gone?
Michael
Michael
KeymasterYes, sorry for this delay. The easiest way to do this is to export a csv of your mailing list, sort them by lists, delete the desired ones, and then re-upload the filtered list.
Michael
August 5, 2024 at 11:46 am in reply to: Newsletter Emails Unverified; Won’t Deliver to Gmail #330309Michael
KeymasterHello,
you probably need to set DKIM and SPF records. Please take a look here: https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/documentation/delivery-and-spam/spf-dkim-dmarc/ and ask your hosting provider if you’re unsure how to set them up.

yeah, probably it was some conflict with your theme.
Glad it works now.Michael
August 2, 2024 at 10:05 am in reply to: Company Logo does not appear in Subscription E-Mails #330256Michael
KeymasterHello,
are you referring to welcome emails? Do you have a live subscription form where I can test this?
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
you should use the minimal form shortcode, check it out on our documentation pages!
Michael
Michael
KeymasterThat’s great, thanks for your feedback!
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
we don’t offer such feature out of the box, so inserting html code is the only way you can do it.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
you can’t pick single posts from that block, but you can use the “single post” block, which is included in our premium licenses.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
no, you won’t lose any data. Just change license with the paid one and you’ll be able to update everything.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello Rolf,
that function has been discontinued, as written in the documentation. You should use the template edit panel inside Newsletter instead.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
we don’t have an integration with that plugin at the moment, so I’m not sure how it can be linked to Newsletter. You can however take a look at our API v2 documentation and see if you can take it from there. https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/documentation/developers/newsletter-api-2/
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
most probably someone deleted it. There’s no reason a newsletter should disappear, we don’t even have an action for that except for the actual delete button. Or maybe someone deleted the table from the the database, but again, it looks like a very specific action to perform.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
yes you’re right, addons are not pulled from the Wp repository, that’s why clicking details don’t work. Most of the times updates of addons are bugfixes or minor improvements, so we don’t track those. Whenever there are new features or major changes, we usually announce them on our socials or via newsletter.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
a quick question: did you set the missing newsletter as “Private” in newsletter’s advanced settings?
Michael
KeymasterHello,
you can do that with our Automated premium addon, however new posts are sent on a schedule-basis, not automatically when a new post is published.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
I’m not sure I understood correctly what you’d like to achieve, but you can start from that code and edit it like you want, then use it in any page you’d like to.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
yes, just one email address is allowed at time. You can however create a filter in your mailbox to forward those emails to another address.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
no, there is no yearly scheduling options at the moment. I’ve passed this to our developers and we’ll consider adding this option in the future.
Thanks for your feedback,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterThanks Per,
for the kind words and the precious feedback. I’ve passed this to our developers, and we’ll consider creating a package for Composer.
Have a great day,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
the solution posted by Tony is the correct one.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
yeah, sorry for this delay, we’re still troubleshooting this. I’ll get back to you later this morning.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello Marcel,
yes exactly, that’s what I wanted to check. I’ll now investigate this with our developers, thanks for your feedback!
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
do you have a live form where I can test the subscription process?
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
test send button is on the composer panel, you are referring to the sending panel (after having pressed “Next”). Try a test send and see if the wrong font shows up in the actual email as well.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
at this page: https://www.ak-traditionelle-textilien-mv.de/newsletter-archiv/ I can see the two latest newsletters being shown, while the oldest one (08.05) is not. I’m not sure why it isn’t showing all three newsletters, but as long it is present in the database, it should show up.
Try to go to Newsletter Archive settings, change the “Showing the newsletter” option to something else, save, and check if the third newsletter is now showing up.Michael
July 16, 2024 at 10:52 am in reply to: I want to get the email field and submit button on one row. #329416Michael
KeymasterHello,
you should use minimal form ([newsletter_form type="minimal"]) to have it all on one line. Attributes are accepted as well. Confirmation on the same page are not supported, you should always set a welcome page in Subscription > Settings.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
if you go to Subscription > Lists, you can unlink all subscribers from the Crowdfunding list and they’ll still be linked to the other lists you have. If I understood correctly what you’re trying to do : )
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
do you see this behaviour right in the composer or after you perform a test send?
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Per,
at the moment unfortunately we don’t have a composer package for Newsletter.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
has the second newsletter been actually sent? Could you please send me a screenshot of your newsletter list?
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
if you go to main settings it should report a more specific error. Try to empty the field, save, then input it again e click save again.Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
which shortcode did you use on that page?
Michael
July 11, 2024 at 9:37 am in reply to: Problem with sending two or more mailings at the same time #329215Michael
KeymasterHello Filip,
simultaneous sendings are not supported, additional newsletters sends are always queued.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
unfortunately no, web versions of newsletters are generated dynamically and there is now way of editing them. You could however use a link shortener like bit.ly.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
which error are you getting?
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
that link is wrongly formatted, did you correctly setup a newsletter dedicated page?
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
we already have some countermeasures against spammers, please check this page: https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/documentation/subscription/antiflood/
Thanks
Michael
KeymasterHello,
maybe you sent the second newsletter to a different list or set some filters by mistake?

did you take a look at our documentation page on multilanguage? https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/documentation/installation/multilanguage/
Thanks,

KeymasterHello Eric,
thanks for the kind words. I’ve passed this to our developers, which will consider wheter to add this to our development roadmap.
Always nice to have some feedback from our users, thank you!
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello Gabi,
I took a look at your last newsletter and the online version works as expected. Can you confirm this?
Thanks,
MichaelJune 20, 2024 at 9:37 am in reply to: Integration with Mailjet: which contact database is used ? #328249Michael
KeymasterHello Patrick,
yes, that’s correct. Integration with third party services like Mailjet regards the sending process only (and bounce management). Contacts and newsletter creation are always managed with Newsletter.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
when you send a newsletter you can embed a link to their profile page which can be reached without the need of entering email addresses. If you are referring to WordPress users which are not subscribers yet, you can install our addon Wp Users, which lets you import WordPress users to your mailing list.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello Gabi,
do you plan to send a new newsletter in the next days? I just subscribed to your website and for troubleshooting purposes it would be better that I receive directly, cause there seems to be something wrong on all the links contained in the newsletter.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
that’s a warning message, please turn off wp debug from your wp-config.
You cannot register twice the same email address, each address is unique.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello Gabi,
I’d need you to forward me an already sent newsletter, could you do that?
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello Karen,
in order to get support for paid addons, I’d ask you to open a ticket from your profile page.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
sorry, for some reason your post went unnoticed. Yes, it’s possible, in the Advanced panel just after the composer, you can type in a different sender address and a sender name for each newsletter.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
can you please send a test newsletter to michael@thenewsletterplugin.com ? Please let me know when it’s sent.
Thanks,
MichaelJune 10, 2024 at 10:58 am in reply to: How to apply a correction to an already sent newsletter ? #327689Michael
KeymasterHello,
yes, that’s the correct procedure.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
there are no “newsletters default css”, everything you can set is inside the composer. If you’d like to style your newsletter further, you’d need to switch to html editor but you cannot go back to the composer once you do that.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
did you try a test run from the Help > Delivery panel?
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
for heavy customizations you should use a custom form, which lets you add further html elements along with custom styles. Take a look at our documentation, custom forms section.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
you need to edit the page where you inserted the [newletter] shortcode (which is a unique page, dynamically showing service messages). You can edit that with Gutemberg, of course.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
are you trying to style the read more button inside newsletters? If so, you should use the composer, the custom css box is used to style the forms only.
Thanks,
MichaelJune 5, 2024 at 8:58 am in reply to: How to send blog newsletter off of user selected list selection #327417Michael
KeymasterHello Bryan,
in order to get supporto for premium addons (if you have a valid license), please submit a ticket from this page: https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/support
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
sorry but I must ask again: do you have.a valid license? If so, you have to open a ticket in order to obtain support. We cannot answer support requests for addons here, we have a dedicated channel for that.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
we checked your email and there is something not working properly in the headers. Can you check if you have any other plugin that may interact with email sending? Our plugin does not generate headers, they are generated by Php libraries contained in WordPress core.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello Lukasz,
the best advice I can give you is to backup everything and proceed with the installation, then check if your website exploded. : ) Jokes apart, we are not aware of particular issues that may arise, however when upgrading between different major versions, it’s always a best practice to try it first on a staging account, if available, or have ready a fresh backup in the case something doesn’t work afterwards. It should be ok, though.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello, thanks.
Could you please send a test newsletter directly from the composer at test@thenewsletterplugin.com so we can take a closer look?
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
I’m not sure I understood correctly. What is gmx? An email provider?
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
yes, unfortunately we made a mistake and we apologize for that. If you do have an active license with us, in order to get premium support please open a ticket from here: https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/account/tickets. Please attach some screenshots of the main Autoresponder settings panel and of the various email steps. Or, if you prefer, you can set up a temporary admin login to your website so we can take a closer look (this would be faster).
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
that was a wrong answer, I can confirm that you must set the delay from the previous message, as you did. Sorry for the misunderstanding. That’s why I asked you for the screenshots.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
this is rather weird. Could you please send me a couple of screenshots from your Autoresponder settings panel? Your configuration seems ok from what you wrote.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Colin,
I already asnwered you through our ticketing system. Let’s communicate there, thanks.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Lukasz,
you’re totally right, from time to time we find some outdated doc pages, thanks for feedback, we will update them as soon as possible. About your question: the Extended Composer Blocks addon has a Single Post block available with styling options. Remember also that all our licenses come with a 30-day money back policy, so you can always try out our professional addons and decide later.
Thanks
Michael
KeymasterHello,
in the exported file there is a status column which can be easily filtered. There is no way of exporting confirmed subscribers only from the plugin.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello Patricia,
I just logged in and everything is working as expected. Here’s the “normal” way of using Instased. You create your post, then save it and publish it. Now Instasend widget is active, and you can create a newsletter following the steps.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Patricia,
no worries, I’m going to login again into your website and check this.
Regards,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello Patricia,
that is normal, since the addon comes from our private repository and not the official WordPress plugin directory.
About Instasend: you don’t see Instasend widget in the right sidebar of the posts editing page? Are you sure it’s not minimized?
Michael
Michael
KeymasterWe’re still investigating Mike, sorry but this is a tricky one.
I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Patricia,
yes, I logged in and fixed this for you. Everything is working correctly now, Addons Manager is installed and activated.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
we do not have a feature that sends out immediately a newsletter when a post is published (custom or regular post, doesn’t matter). You can however create a scheduled newsletter with all last posts (you can make it run daily, for example). Take a look here: https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/automated
Michael
KeymasterHello Mike,
don’t worry, I found your email. I’m taking look right now.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Mike,
I just checked again and I didn’t receive login emails. What is your domain, btw? Can you please try again?
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello Patricia,
I fear we won’t be able to troubleshoot this without a direct access. Could you please create a temporary admin account using this email: michael@thenewsletterplugin.com?
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello Patricia,
do you see the Addons manager label in green when you hover on Newsletter from your WordPress sidebar?
Michael
KeymasterHello,
I’ve passed this to our developers and we’ll consider adding this to one of the following newsletter updates.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello Mike,
yes you can edit the db tables directly but we don’t offer support on these advanced matters. Please, create a temporary admin account using this mail michael@thenewsletterplugin.com, so I can take a closer look at this behaviour.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
please read the documentation article here: https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/documentation/subscription/subscription-form-shortcodes/ to learn how to edit the minimal form or create a custom form.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
please read the documentation article here: https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/documentation/subscription/subscription-form-shortcodes/ to learn how to edit the minimal form or create a custom form.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello and thanks for using our plugin.
Yes, it’s possible, you need to create a custom form, please follow the guide here: https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/documentation/subscription/newsletter-forms/
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterYes, you could do that by ftp or simply downloading the zip file from https://wordpress.org/plugins/newsletter/ and uploading it from your WordPress dashboard.
Michael
KeymasterHello Mike, could you please try to reinstall Newsletter core files? It looks like something has got corrupted. Also, does this issue appear in other parts of the plugin as well?
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
of course not, on your first topic you mentioned Automated and I supposed you were already using it. My fault, sorry about that. Anyway, what you really need is Autoresponder addon and yes, it can fit your needs. The only thing is we never tested such long spans but I think that with a correctly set cron, there’s no reason it won’t work.
Read more on Autorespondere here: https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/autoresponder
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello, do you have a live example of the page you’re trying to create?
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
are those forms custom as well or are you using another form plugin to create them? We do have integrations with most of them.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello mike,
can you see any errors in the browser console while trying to save the edits?
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello Patricia,
that shouldn’t be related, however if everything’s working as it should, I’d leave it as it is. Let me know if you need anything else.
Thanks,

KeymasterHello Helmut,
we’re currently checking this. I’ll be back once I have any update.
Thanks for the feedback,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
to do that you’d need to create a share link for the social network you wish to use. The link format depends from social network to social network, for Facebook for example, it’s something like https://www.facebook.com/sharer/sharer.php?u=yourpost. Then, simply embed that link in your newsletter, as plain text or using a button.
Thanks,
MichaelMay 6, 2024 at 9:50 pm in reply to: How to display more than 20 emails when searching on this page ? #326140Michael
KeymasterHello,
I’ve passed this to our developers, we will add an option to increase entries number. Thanks for your feedback!
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Jon,
that would require some custom code, which we can’t give support for, unfortunately. But a skilled developer should be able to do this quite easily.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello Geoffrey,
I believe asking Mailersend support was the right path, let me know what they’ll answer if you don’t mind!
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterThanks Geoffrey, I do confirm it wasn’t one of your plugins’ fault. Can you please run a test send briefly disabling wp smtp and see if the error persists?
Thanks
MMichael
KeymasterHello,
yes I took a look at your emails, sorry for this delay. I’d need another thing, cause one of our developers have already seen this behaviour and it was caused by a conflict with another plugin. Could you please let us have a list of your currently active plugins?
Thanks,
MichaelMay 2, 2024 at 10:51 am in reply to: How can I change the order in which posts are displayed in emails? #325951Michael
KeymasterHello,
that seems correct, I don’t know why it shouldn’t work in your case. However, unfortunately we do not provide support on custom code, sorry.
Regards,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
without an external action, our plugin cannot change subscribers status. If that’s happened by mistake, unfortunately there is no way to revert things, apart from doing it manually or in bulk.
Regards,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
when you created the newsletter with the last posts block, inside the settings panel of that block there is an option to do that. You can set Automated not to run when no new posts are found, or to send a custom message.
Regards,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
are you sure you don’t have a filter active on the subscribers list page?
Regards,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello Sheila,
we do not have a discount program for charities, however most of the features of our plugin are availble for free. Were you interested in any feature in particular?
Regards,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello and thanks for using our plugin.
Yes of course, you can add the only version link using the {email_url} tag, which you can insert anywhere in the newsletter.
Regards,
MichaelMay 2, 2024 at 10:14 am in reply to: How to have subscribers from more webs or places all together #325944Michael
KeymasterHello Dana,
yes of course, you can do that. Please read this documentation article on custom forms, you’ll find all the needed indications: https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/documentation/subscription/newsletter-forms/

MichaelMay 2, 2024 at 10:12 am in reply to: Which template to be able to EDIT with TINYMCE editor ? #325943Michael
KeymasterHello,
before we deployed our own visual composer to edit newsletters and made it default, we used TinyMCE editor to build them. So currently new newsletters are always created with the new composer. Likewise, if you previously created a newsletter with TinyMCE editor, it will open that as default editor.
Regard,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
this is kinda weird. As you said, usually Apple Mail has issues displaying images, because of their proxies, but showing no content at all may indicate other issues. I’d ask you two things:
– go to Newsletter > Help > Delivery and perform a test from there. See if you display that message from the same Apple Mail client.
– Send a test newsletter from the composer panel to michael@thenewsletterplugin.com (me). Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
unfortunately I didn’t get your email. Could you please try again?
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello Patricia,
no, there is no pre-condition to install the Addons Manager, it’s just a regular plugin. Could you please try again after deleting the plugin folder via ftp?
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Geoffrey, and thanks for using our plugin. This is rather weird, I’d need to take a look at one of these newsletter, could you please send a test one to michael@thenewsletterplugin.com?
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello Farant,
disabling Gravatar from your WordPress settings only disables it in WordPress core. Any plugin or theme can override that setting for its particular purposes, just like Newsletter does. At the moment, there is no option to disable Gravatar retrieval in subscriber statistics.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterSalve Federico,
avrei bisogno di un accesso diretto al sito per provare a debuggare questo problema. Puoi creare un utente temporaneo utilizzando la stessa mail di cui sopra.
Grazie,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello Maja,
unfortunately at the moment there is no such option, not even in the premium version of Newsletter. Custom fields are collected for internal use only. However, I’ve passed this to our developers which will consider adding this in one of the future Newsletter updates.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
glad you found out this solution, which is correct.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
unfortunately at the moment this is not possible through the Leads dashboard, however it should be doable with a little bit of custom code.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
as Graham correctly pointed out, there isn’t a tag at the moment which displays the registration date. I’ve passed this to our developers and we will consider adding this in a future update.
Thanks for your precious feeback,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello Claus,
username and password in Smtp are encoded and sent to the Smtp provider only.
Thanks,
MichaelApril 23, 2024 at 10:09 pm in reply to: How can I change the order in which posts are displayed in emails? #325611Michael
KeymasterHello,
at the moment we don’t have such an option. I’ve added this to our feature request list, which will be evaluated by our developers.
Thanks for your feedback!
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Sheila,
just to be sure: are you referring to the newsletter buttons or to the forms buttons?
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterSalve Federico,
purtroppo non mi è arrivato nulla. Puoi rimandare le mail, per cortesia?
Grazie,

KeymasterHello,
it looks like your license expired. You can renew anytime by going to https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/premium.

KeymasterHello and thanks for using our plugin.
If you’re a customer, I’d ask you the favour of using our premium ticketing platfom which you can access here: https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/account/tickets.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello Patricia and thanks for using our plugin.
Just a quick question: is the addon manager correctly installed and activated on your blog now?
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello Barbara,
the reason behind this is aggressive automatic spam filters set in place by various providers, lately. Two step unsubscription should work in most cases, but we are aware of this issue. If you’re willing to help us, it would be of great help if you could collect the IP of some of these users, and sent them to us at michael@thenewsletterplugin.com
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello and thanks for using our plugin,
yes of course, you can set that by going to Settings > General > Advanced.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello and thanks for using our plugin,
did you read carefully our documentation article here: https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/documentation/subscription/antiflood/ ?
Thanks,
MichaelApril 17, 2024 at 12:59 pm in reply to: Question / feature request: default for user specific tags #325366Michael
KeymasterHello Claus,
unfortunately it’s not possible, but if you write “Hello” and then the name tag, if the name tag is not present it will just display Hello, which is, if I understood correctly, what you’re trying to do. Correct me if I’m wrong!
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
considering that support is available from Monday to Friday and that you published your first post on Thursday at 11pm, we answered your post 28 hours later. In what world do you call that an unreasonable amount of time? We’re a small team and we do our best to help and listen everyone, and believe me or nor, paying customers are only a small fraction of our support requests. I’m happy to hear that Mailster answered you in such a small amount of time, we do that too – on mondays.
Take care,
MichaelApril 15, 2024 at 8:49 am in reply to: Subscriber automatically removed from list without consent #325160Michael
KeymasterHello, and thanks for using our plugin.
I can assure you that Newsletter isn’t automatically unsubscribing anyone, unfortunately this is caused by automatic spam filters active on your recipients’ mailboxes. To prevent this, please activate 2-step unsubscription as described here: https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/documentation/subscribers-and-management/cancellation/#Two-Clicks-Unsubscribe.
Thanks,
MIchaelMichael
KeymasterHello and thanks for using our plugin.
We do care about all our customers, don’t you worry. Response times may vary based on how busy we are but we do our best to answer everybody in a reasonable amount of time. We do apologize if this didn’t happen in your case.
About your issue: do you have a live subscription form I can take a look at?
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
this is weird, actually. I can see you have the Addon Manager installed and active, could you please go in its panel and send me a screenshot of what you see there?
Thanks,
MichaelApril 15, 2024 at 1:13 am in reply to: Is there any way to change/add css classes to the subscription forms? #325142Michael
KeymasterHello Claus,
do you have a live example of the buttons design you’d like to get?
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello and thanks for using our plugin!
You’re right, there is no option to change those aspects right in the composer, so your only chances are to build a custom template from scratch or, to switch your “final” newsletter to the html version and add some css rules. With the latter option, you will not be able to switch back to the visual composer, though.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Ignacio,
yes, our premium Automated addon does exactly what you asked.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Ignacio,
I understand. Unfortunately we don’t fully support multilanguages environments. I’d suggest you to do the following: create different newsletter templates, one for each language you need. The only block you’d need to recreate manually is the legal block. Then, you can use those two templates to target english speaking and spanish speaking subscribers (if they belong to different lists). At the moment, targeting can NOT be saved in a template, so you should select it manually every time.
Thanks,
MichaelApril 10, 2024 at 9:39 am in reply to: WP Users integration / custom coded subscription form #324976Michael
KeymasterHello,
glad to have pointed you in the right direction : )
Have a nice day,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
I think it’s a browser related issue. I can see the input from Chrome, Firefox and Safari, on macOS, both desktop and mobile. Can you tell me which browser/OS are you using when experiencing this issue?
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello, and sorry for the late reply.
I see that your wp registration form is customized, may I ask which plugin are you currently using? Normally Wp registration form doesn’t collect name, only username, but since you have both I’d need to take a look at it to see why our plugin is picking the wrong one.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
a screenshot wouldn’t be much useful in this case. Isn’t the form live on your website right now?
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Ignacio,
which localizatin plugin are you currently using?
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello Peter,
to edit those service messages, you need to go to Settings > Message Templates
Thanks,
MichaelApril 9, 2024 at 9:05 am in reply to: When newsletters are sent, subscribers are set to logged out. #324899Michael
KeymasterHello Peter,
this issue is not related to The Newsletter Plugin, but it affects a lot of mail marketing systems and it’s caused by the new rules set earlier this year by Google and Yahoo in order to prevent spam. We can mitigate this somehow, with “tricks” such as the 2-step unsubscription process, but we cannot guarantee it works 100% of the times.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
unfortunately we do not offer support for custom code. Anyway, in your case I’d take a look at this hook: https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/documentation/developers/dev-newsletter-hooks/#filter-newsletter-user-subscribe
Thanks,
MichaelApril 8, 2024 at 5:25 pm in reply to: When newsletters are sent, subscribers are set to logged out. #324618Michael
KeymasterHello Peter,
you can find the 2-step unsubscribe settings by going to Subscription > Unsubscription.
Thanks,
