ParticipantHi Michael. I don’t know if it makes any difference but the Newsletter in question is on a different mailing list that you can’t sign up to on the web site – it is manually managed.
Anyway I repeated your experiment using my wife’s email with the draft Newsletter and it all works fine for her – it must be some quirk of me being the admin/author/sender of the test mailing. So long as it isn’t unsubscribing genuine recipients I’m happy to ignore it…
Many thanks for looking into this.

ParticipantI’m afraid all messages on the Unsubscribe tab are default and have never been changed.
If this behaviour only happens for me I can live with it but it would be a problem if this was happening for everyone. I’ll try a test later by subscribing with a different address (probably my wife’s…)

ParticipantIf you mean is my email address in the same domain as the web site then the answer is no though it is hosted by the same server in a different domain (actually just re-directed to gmail). My email address is the main admin email for the site in WordPress.

ParticipantSo this happened six times and I was trying to pin down what triggered it (closing the tab? hovering over unsubscribe?). As part of my investigation I restarted the (Edge on PC) browser and now can’t reproduce the problem. Hopefully a transient weirdness. I will reply again if it re-occurs.
(D’oh – it just happened again in the new browser while I had time to edit the reply…)

ParticipantI did find a way to do this by editing the row in the newsletter_emails table in the MySQL database but it may not be for everyone! I had to edit both the HTML and Text versions to be on the safe side.
