WP categories and List items

Hi,

i wonder if it is possible to combine the category of a post in wordpress with a (similar) item of the plugin “list”.
f.e. if a post is in category “events” then automatically (only) subscribers who registered for a list item “events” are selected ?
at least this could help avoid errors that posts that are taken as source for a newsletter are erratically sent to uninterested subscribers for this category…?
