—English version afterwards—
Hallo Zusammen.
Also: Newsletter > Abonnenten > Status „Abgemeldet“
Hello everyone.
The newsletter has been running on one domain for a long time without any problems.
Now we have a new installation. What happens is that every time a newsletter is sent, some addresses do not receive the newsletter and are instead unsubscribed. So: Newsletter > Subscribers > Status “Unsubscribed”
We reactivated the addresses a few times. Set to “confirmed”. But it repeats itself with every new shipment.
We deleted the address, created a new one and also created two more test addresses. After sending, all 3 addresses are “deregistered”.
The addresses have different domains. The only recognizable connection between the addresses is that ID’s are in a row (286, 287,288)
Does anyone have an idea where the problem could be?thanks
April 8, 2024 at 9:21 am #324379halloParticipantHallo Peter,
April 8, 2024 at 9:33 am #324383MichaelKeymasterHello, and thanks for using our plugin.
Unfortunately automatic unsubscriptions are rapidly becoming an issue for some users. We’ve added a 2-step unsubscription process that you can activate in our general settings panel that should mitigate this problem (casued by automatic spam filters that some of your recipients have in place) but some unsubscriptions may still occur.
If you’re willing to help us retrieve some useful data on this matter, please let us have some of the IP’s of the unsubscribed users so we can build a sort of database of where these come from. You can mail them at michael@thenewsletterplugin.com
Thanks,

Thanks for your Answer. Where exactly do we find the setting for two-stage logout?
As with your last message, we cannot find the information mentioned about changing the header logo / signature.https://iomo-de.prossl.de/temp/newsletter.png

you can find the 2-step unsubscribe settings by going to Subscription > Unsubscription.
Thanks,

Thanks, Found.
It would be nice if it worked so that we can continue to operate the newsletter plugin. PeterApril 9, 2024 at 9:05 am #324899MichaelKeymasterHello Peter,
this issue is not related to The Newsletter Plugin, but it affects a lot of mail marketing systems and it’s caused by the new rules set earlier this year by Google and Yahoo in order to prevent spam. We can mitigate this somehow, with “tricks” such as the 2-step unsubscription process, but we cannot guarantee it works 100% of the times.
Thanks,
Michael -
