User sign-up without forwarding them to a confirmation page?

Hello. I’ve embedded the newsletter sign up [newsletter] into my wordpress site. I use this form in my articles. However, when users sign up they are forwarded away from the article to a confirmation page. This means they probably get annoyed because they have to go back to the article. Is there any way to confirm the subscription on the page where the form is embedded? A text or something that pops up below the form. “Registration confirmed” or something. Thank you
