Test email succeeds but I cannot receive subscription confirmation emails

Hello,

I am hosting with GoDaddy. I have input my SMTP host and details in Settings>SMTP. The test email is sent successfully and I receive it. But when I try to subscribe, I get no confirmation email. I tried with several addresses. I enabled debugging and there’s nothing special in the logs. I checked my business email which has an online spam filter, there’s nothing sent. When I check the status page I see

Mailer Internal SMTP (deprecated)

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Hi, try to not use anymore the SMTP. Go daddy is not exactly reliable about email sending, open them a ticket and ask which is the better way to send email from your hosting plan.
