    I have configured the SMTP settings as per the video with host as smtp.gmail.com 465 nosecure protocol but when i try to send the email i get the error
    “SMTP connect() failed. https://github.com/PHPMailer/PHPMailer/wiki/Troubleshooting ”

    please help

    Hi, with GMAIL the best option is to install an SMTP plugin which support oauth2 authentication, you can find a couplein the wp repo. Then Newsletter will use that plugin and you can disable the SMTP feature of Newsletter.
