Receiving a Fatal Error on Dashboard

Hi all, quick question. In the “Dashboard” I am getting the following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function date_create_from_format() in /home/content/w/a/l/wallydff/html/miranda-shanklin/wp-content/plugins/newsletter/main/index.php on line 59

All other areas seem to be okay. I have updated both the plugin and WordPress to current versions but still getting the error.

Hi you’re using an old version of php you should upgrade at least to version 5.3.
