Pop-up Subscriber window blocks userlogin modal

I have just upgraded the plugin using a lot of the new features and one of them is the pop-up subscriber modal window that can be enabled.
The problem is that when I use this function to get new subscribers, the login button that calls a modal window on any page of the website doesn’t work since the background grey overlay for the subscription pop-up is activated.

I have since deactivated the subscriber lead pop-up but I assume this is a Z-index issue.
