    Pages on the back end of my WordPress site are taking up to a minute or more to load; If I deactivate the Newsletter plug-in this problem disappears – I have installed the latest version today, but the problem was identified a few days ago

    Uhm, that is odd since on backend we load only what is needed and in our admin pages. It sounds like if something is running and is reaching a timeout.

    I’ll check the code to see if in the startup something is ran which should not.

    Thanks for the quick response; I think this first appeared after I’d used the ‘upload a subscriber’ option; I usually use the CSV route but have been uploading single subscribers on
    ce or twice recently-
