    Hello,
Some of our receipients are posting the newsletter onto Facebook and other social media platforms (view online version). However, instead of showing the featured image, Facebook shows a distorted version of our logo (which is placed above the featured image in the newsletter).
I understand that in order for Facebook to choose the right image, we need to add the “open graph” property onto the image, so that Facebook (and all the other social media) automatically choose it. But in the newsletter design pages, there is no way to add any property to an image?

    Thanks,

    Hello,

this is somewhat tricky to debug because “view online” pages of newsletters are not real Wp pages, as they are dynamically created. So there’s no way to customize open graph settings for those pages. The Facebook scraper could take the first image on the newsletter, for example, or the general website image, if that’s set by a Seo plugin. You can verify the behaviour by googling Open graph debugger.

A workaround for this might be setting a general website opengraph cover image, optimized, which will be detected by Facebook (and most other social networks).
