    Hi all,

I kindly request your assistance.I have a multilingual site (Eng – GR) that uses Polylang. The ‘The Newsletter plugin’ used to work well initially, as I have 1200 subs to my ENG mail list (called Subscribers ENG) and 260 to my GR mail list (called Subscribers GR).

    Problem
But, I noticed a problem when I realised that no new subs subscribed to my GR list the past 9 months. At the ‘Lists’ section, both lists are set to ‘Public’. The ‘Enforced by language’ is ticked for ‘English’ for ‘Subscribers ENG’ list and the ‘Greek’ tickbox is ticked for the ‘Subscribers GR’ list. Here’s the link to the WordPress Newsletter page: https://educraft.tech/newsletter/ (for English) and https://educraft.tech/el/newsletter-2/ (for Greek)

    Testing
I tried with a demo account, loaded the page where the GR form is active but once I subscribed the demo account was set to the ENG mail list. What am I doing wrong? Could someone please assist me?

On your page, the language on the main form is “el” (correct) but the language on the footer form (which is probably the only one used) is “en”.
I don’t know how that form is generated. I saw a problem recently with a page builder that caches the footer block keeping only one copy with a specific language.
Or it could be that form has been added as HTML code manually.

What site builder are you using?

Note: your main form on the https://educraft.tech/el/newsletter-2/ is unusable to me, the button is not visible (using Chrome).

    Hi Stefano,
Wow, thank you so much for your prompt response! Please allow me to answer your questions:

    1. I am using the ‘Uncode’ Theme.
    2. In the footer the code I have for the list is [newsletter_form form=1] for English and [newsletter_form form=2] for the Greek versions of my footer. Should I switch to just [newsletter_form]? I did this because I wanted to make it more personalised for people by changing the ‘SUBSCRIBE’ button to greek language.
    3. Regarding this page https://educraft.tech/el/newsletter-2/ I am not sure what’s wrong. Indeed the button is grayed out but it’s clickable.

UPDATE: By switch n2 to [newsletter] the accounts subscribed using the footer ‘subscription form’ are being subscribed in the correct list
