Maximum number of emails per hour

Hi,

When I check on the stats page it shows “Max speed: 642.85 emails per hour” and in General Settings -> Delivery speed tab “Max emails per hour” is set to 100.
Can I increase this to 500? Will this result in any error?

The limit you set depends on your provider, ask them how many email you can send per hour. The max speed reported is the capability of your server.

Currently, I’m using amazon SMTP so should I check with them or with hosting provider?

I also have a question around this. I have 200,000 newsletter subscribers. I am currently setup with Mailgun to handle this capacity but with that being said, do you have a recommendation of the max number of emails to send? I am looking for your recommendation on the max number of emails I can set without causing an issue with Mailgun.
