Issue with {unsubscription_confirm_url}

Hello,

I have set up a subscriber form on a client’s website. The subscription form successfully leads to the welcome page (which I have customised) created by the Newsletter plugin.

However, I have found that when I used {unsubscription_confirm_url} at the bottom of created newsletters so that people can cancel; after clicking the link, the user is ALSO taken to the welcome page.

Is this a bug, or have I done something wrong somewhere?

Hi all links generated by tag bring the user to the Newsletter dedicated page, which should contain only the [newsletter] shortcode.

But is that not a strange issue?

So…

If someone signs up to the newsletter, they get a welcome message…

And…

If someone was to unsubscribe, they ALSO see the welcome message??

Actually, never mind.

I’m kinda understanding what that Newsletter created page is actually for—I actually just assumed it was a welcome page to be styled as we like. My mistake.
