Invalid Subscriber

I was having issues when I would forward a newsletter to a friend that wasn’t on my subscription lists, when they would try and access a link (a link to my website) that was on the newsletter they would be directed to a page that would say “invalid subscriber”. I have tried testing this issue again but it seems to no longer happen.
I’m curious if this was fixed in the latest release or if you have any idea of why this would of happened.

links are tracked with the subscriber id, probably the subscriber was deleted.

Sorry I worded my question poorly.

My question is: if I send a email via the plug-in to a subscriber and that subscriber forwards the email they received to a friend of theirs that isn’t a subscriber in the plug-in, will they be able to click on links inside the email or will they always be directed to the invalid subscriber page?
