Image placeholder

Hi,

Is there a way to show image placeholders (with or without alt text) for recipients who block images from loading? This is the way most newsletters arrive in people’s inboxes.

Strangely, image placeholders appear in the social block, but not for image blocks. A recipient blocking auto image loads can’t easily recognize they are not seeing images.

Thanks for adding the alt tags in 6.1.9.
Sadly, image placeholder blocks and alt tags aren’t appearing on mail clients that do not auto-load images. 🙁
