Automatic mailing series, there is a delay which is the correct solution?

Hello,
I have searched the forum here and I can’t really find the answer to the following question.

If I want to set up an automatic mail sequence, there is a Delay (hours) field in the Autoresponder in the email edit.

If I enter 0 here, the user will receive the email immediately after confirming the subscription. This is fine.

But if I want to send him an email the next day, the third day and the fourth day, what should I write in this field?

2nd mail after one day “delay (hours)” 24
Letter 3 after two days “delay (hour)” 24 or 48
4. letter after three days “delay (hours)” 24 or 72

The 24 is always counted in relation to the previous letter.
If I write 24, 48, 72, it counts in relation to the subscription.

Which is the correct solution?

Hello,

delay is always counted towards last message. So if you want to send on 2nd day, 3rd day and 4th day, you should set 24 hours delay on all messages.
