I have the following problem. I would like to organize a giveaway with a lucky wheel in December using the following plugin:

This plugin allows me to use a GDPR checkbox to obtain user consent for the terms and conditions of participation.

However, we would also like to use this giveaway to encourage users to sign up for our newsletter, which presents a challenge. In Germany, we are required to use the opt-in process for newsletter subscriptions. Unfortunately, the plugin mentioned does not support an opt-in process, only the GDPR checkbox, which is not sufficient.

Therefore, my question is: is there a way, perhaps with a code snippet, to realize my plan using "The Newsletter Plugin"? If you have any ideas or approaches to solve this, I would be very grateful.

Probably creating an integration is complex, so why not invert the offer? make the wheel an option of the subscription.
