Autoresponder
When a subscriber is unsubscribed or bounced it still appears on the autoresponder subscriber list. It’s ok, the Autoresponder engine when processing the subscriber to send the next email, will take care of all the required checks and won’t send it any message and set it as “blocked” specifying the reason.

New added subscribers by import or manually entered do not appear on the autoresponder subscriber list. It’s ok, the Autoresponder engine runs every hour to check if there are new subscribers matching the rules and connect them to the series. Check if the series is configured to run the “alignment” on some specific cases that feature could be disabled to not connect subscribers originating from import or added by other means than a regular subscription.
How can I send a series of welcome emails? Using the Autoresponder Addon you can set one or more email series to be activated for each subscriber after the first subscription a purchase or a list change. The series can contain an unlimited number of messages (steps) with a custom delay for every message.
Can I activate an email series/autoresponder for old subscribers? Yes, on each series configuration page, in the maintenance section, you can activate the autoresponder for old subscribers with the “Align” button. You can set the autoresponder to keep itself aligned regularly: it’s useful when subscribers are added by other means the the self-registration, for example with import or custom code.
Leads
What is the Leads addon, how does the Leads addon work: with our Leads Addon it is possible to collect subscribers through popups, top-bar and in-post subscription forms. They are three possibilities among which you can choose the best option, or use more than one simultaneously.

WooCommerce
Can I subscribe a customer when he makes a purchase? How to subscriber a customer on checkout/order completion.
Using our WooCommerce addon you can add a subscription checkbox on the checkout and registration pages. You can even set it to subscribe automatically to all the customers. The addon provides rules to classify your subscribers based on product or product categories.
Can I add the WooCommerce order details in a newsletter or welcome email?
Not, it’s not possible to add the WooComerce order detail when the user completes a purchase and subscribes to your newsletters.
Can I add a customer to a list when he purchases a specific product?
Yes, if you’re selling products with WooCommerce, you can install the WooCommerce addon for the Newsletter plugin and configure which product or product category classifies the customer on a specific subscription list when they’re bought.

Yes, if your products are managed with WooCommerce, you can install the “WooCommerce Addon” and, in the composer, a “Products” block will be available. That block has several filters to extract the latest products and options to display them. The “Products” block can be used on “Automated Addon” templates to send automatically the latest product to your subscribers.
License, account, invoice, VAT
License check failed. I get the error “License check failed”.
The error can be shown if the license key that is set on the Newsletter’s main settings is not valid. Please, login to your account page and copy and paste the license you’ll find there. If you registered with a non working email address the account could have been blocked or deleted, create a new account.
If the license is set correctly and it matches the one available on your account page, probably your site cannot contact our server. That does not compromise the correct functioning of the plugin or the installed add-ons, don’t worry. Anyway, the update of the addons directly from your site won’t work, you just need to download them, for your downloads page and install them as any other regular plugin.
It is recommended to set the log level to “debug” on the main Newsletter settings, and contact us for a check: the error reason should be recorded on the Help/Logs page.
Is a license required to use the Newsletter plugin?
No, to use the plugin downloaded from wordpress.org you don’t need a license. The plugin is free and provides many features. A free license to get the free professional add-ons can be obtained by signing up here or logging in you you already have an account. To get all professional add-ons, you can buy a full license.
What happens when my license expires? When the license expires, you can no longer use the support tickets and download updated addons. Anyway, every addon already installed continues to work regularly and the Newsletter plugin, being free, can be updated without time limits.
Can I buy a single addon? Can I purchase a single addon?
No, addons cannot be bought separately, sorry.
I cannot access my account page. To gain access to your account, if you remember the email address used to sign up (you can search between your old emails for a welcome message), use the password recovery to set a new password. If the password recovery accepts your email but you do not receive the message with the instructions, please wait a few minutes and check the spam or unsolicited messages in your mailbox or email client. If you cannot remember your registration email address, contact our support and report the license number you can find on the Newsletter plugin’s main settings. If you do not have a license number and you’re a customer with a paid license, report the evidence of the payment so we can recover the account. If you don’t have a paid license, you can create a new account.
When can I renew my license? You can renew the license starting 30 days before its expiration until the day it expires. If you renew before its expiration one year of validity is added to the natural expiration date, so no validity days are lost. The renewal is available on your account page.
My license is expired, can I renew it? I missed the renewal offer, how can I get it?
No, an expired license cannot be renewed using the renewal offer, when available. A new license needs to be purchased. You can purchase it directly from your account page. The license key does not change, so as soon as the new license is active the blog can get updates of our addons immediately.
What does it mean by one year of support and updates?
When you get a license, it enables you to download the addon packages as many times as you want for 1 year and, of course, always in the most updated version. After that period, all add-ons will continue to work but compatibility is not granted and you can’t get new releases. The premium support is available via tickets and you can access it for a whole year up until the license expires.
I missed the promotion can I buy now at the sale price?
No, sorry, when a promotion is closed it cannot be reactivated. We can suggest waiting for the next promotion: we run a few of them during the year (usually Christmas/New Year, Spring/Easter, Halloween/Black Friday, Summer Days).
If I buy a new license during a promotion, my current license is extended by a whole year?
No, sales are for new licenses only and do not extend existing licenses.
When the license period expires, will the add-ons continue to work?
Absolutely and definitively YES! The license duration is intended to download updates and get premium support. Please note that compatibility is not granted.
When I get the invoice for my purchase? Invoices are sent within 10 days by email and can be downloaded from the account page. If you cannot find it after 10 days, please contact the support team.

To delete your account, please send a request to the support team using the contact page. Please, take care to specify if, with the account deletion, you want all your active licenses to be deleted as well. Note that by law requirements, we could be required to keep specific data about your account.
I have a UK VAT number, why the VAT is still added to the price?
The UK is no longer part of the EU after Brexit and a UK VAT number is no more part of the VIES, so the UK VAT cannot be deducted.
Are my subscribers saved if my license expires? What happens to the subscribers if I delete the Plugin? What happens to the subscribers if I reinstall the Plugin? Are the subscribers saved?
Don’t worry, if your license expires or you delete/reinstall the Plugin your subscribers will be saved in your database and won’t be lost.
Change my billing data. Change my address. Change my company name. Change my VAT number.
There is no need to change the billing date, on renew the billing data can be inserted once again. If you need to change the data on an already issued invoice, usually it’s not possible, anyway contact us opening a ticket from your account page.
Paid Membership Pro
Paid Membership Pro or PMPro. Can I add the subscription option when members register with Ultimate Member or Paid Membership Pro? You can add members registered with a membership plugin by installing one of our add-ons that integrate Ultimate Member and Paid Membership Pro. You can add the subscription checkbox on their registration form or, if desired, automatically subscribe to every newly registered user.
Can I assign a specific list to a specific level of users managed with the Paid Membership Pro plugin? Yes, for each membership level, you can configure which lists should be activated and which lists should be deactivated. That operation is managed directly by our Paid Membership Pro Addon every time a user is moved to a different membership level.
Ultimate Members
Can I assign lists to roles managed by the Ultimate Members plugin? Yes, installing the Ultimate Member Addon for the Newsletter plugin, each membership role can be configured to activate or deactivate specific lists.
My database is growing too big, what can I do? The database is used to store the statistics for each newsletter and each subscriber. If you send an important number of newsletters and have a big subscriber list, to keep all that information you need to have a capable database. To reduce the space occupied, you can delete the old newsletters, remove the unsubscribed contacts, and remove the not-confirmed contacts. If you need to keep all that data, ask the provider about the database limits and how to increase them.

The Elementor addon adds to the Elementor Forms the ability to collect subscribers. A form can be used as a contact form with the option to subscribe or as a dedicated subscription form. WP Users
WP users. Can I import my WordPress (WP) users as subscribers? Can I send a newsletter to my WordPress (WP) users?
Yes, the integration between subscribers and WordPress users is available using the free WP Users addon. Once installed, subscribers can be created using the WP users’ data, and they will be linked together. On user registration, a consent checkbox can be shown to create even a subscriber connected with the new user or just add every new user as a subscriber. Many other integration options are available on the addon configuration. The WP Users addon can be downloaded from your account page or directly installed from the Newsletter/Addons page on your site.
Not all WP users are imported when the import is started.
If the list of WP users is too big, the server can fail to transfer all of them due to timeout (set by your provider) or database rate limit.
How can I create a subscriber when a user registers with my WordPress site? Can I show a subscribe checkbox on the WordPress registration page or form? Is it possible to subscribe who register on the site?
Yes, by installing the WP User addon (free), you can collect subscribers connected to the WordPress users and show a subscribe checkbox on the WP registration form.

Can it be used on a multisite blog? Multisite. Yes, it can. The Newsletter Plugin can be activated on each site of a multisite blog, and it works on every one of them independently. The lists, statistics, and so on will be created separately.

How can I enable logging to check what’s happening?
On the Newsletter plugin main settings you can change the logging level to have the plugin and addons logging the internal operations. All the logs are available on the Help/Logs page. Logs have really tech content and are not easy to read, they’re usually used for support. The debug level produces a huge amount of content, so keep it only for the minimum required time.
