It would be awesome if we could split test subject lines with basic metrics on open rates. A/B testing the content of the email would be even better, but subject lines would be a great start.
Yes, AB Testing with multiple emails is a must-have feature for emails. Please add this feature ASAP. We should be able to make two or more separate emails and send, instead of limiting it to just one change. This is given by all leading email providers.
