    Hello everyone,
i saw that a lot of people had the same issue.

I want the welcome email after the double opt in to be the Custom mail that i created via the Composer.
But the initial “basic” Mail which i already Kinda customized is being delivered.

    What can i do?
Are there any extra Settings that i have to watch out for?

Hi, that should not happen, can you share a screenshot of your configuration? Are you referring to the welcome email or the activation email (sent when the double opt-in is active).

I am also having the exact same problem. I am on the latest version of the plugin, currently using single opt-in. And on the welcome email page I have selected the ‘New Email’ and have customized the template.

Hi, to help me debug, is the subscription collected with the standard form or another from (for example by CF7)?

Not sure about OP, but I do not have CF7 activated in my plugins.

However, your question prompted another idea, this behavior is currently seen during my setup and testing. When I add a manually add subscriber and click ‘resend welcome email’. I have not yet published the newsletter form in my navigation.

I went to the newsletter signup form page instead and entered an email, and the correct Welcome email came through! It appears at least in my case this was only for manually inserted submissions and clicking ‘resend welcome email’.

Now, I’ll have to double check adding subscription using the api, because I’m going to be using that functionality.

Ok, it’s a bug of the admin side of the plugin, thank you for reporting!
